We currently have an old receiver and CD player wired to six speakers in different rooms. I’m thinking about replacing the CD player with an iPod and just connecting with a 3.5 mm to RCA cable. I’ll go ahead and try it, because the cable doesn’t cost much, but I’m wondering about other options. I’ve read about digital output from the iPod, but that seems rather expensive. Any advice is appreciated.
