retermination

    Anyone got experience of having theirs shortened and reterminated. Just had a quote for a reterm of £75 not including connectors per end, thats £300! It wasn't even from the manufacturer.
    Please dont ask where the quote came from, as I dont wish to get involved in a bitter spat, but at that figure surely I'm being taken the piss out of.

    Should have said (too much Shiraz!) I'm refering to expensive interconnects.

    why dont you buy a 20 quid soldering iron and do it yourself?

    Its only 2 solders per side for an RCA connection.

    If you get completely fed up I'll do it for you for the price of a couple of CD's.
