Hi

Nice review. They looked good in John Bamford's listening room.

Is this amp going to be at any of the Hifi Shows?

Hi SCIDB

Do you prefer sunny side (valves) up or down?

Show plans for later in the year TBC, expect to see a preamplifer as well :-)

Cheers,

Raz.

Really superb amp the Takumi, certainly produced the best from my horns,
I would very much like one ,and preamp!

Hi Raz,

I use a valve amp because I think it sounds very good. I have heard a number of good ones. I have a few solid state amps at home as well which I like, Marantz PM4 for example.

I'll look forward to hearing the K-70 and the new pre amp.

Hi Keith:

I agree the Takumi K70 really exploits the Cessaro horns abilities outstandingly well... gosh those horns have serious life-like dynamics... a really 'must hear' partnership for anyone who loves music.

Hi SCIDB:

Which valve amp do you use? The Takumi K70 is a masterful balance of both worlds.

Cheers,

Raz.

The Takumi has a bit of valve life, but the output really drives / controls the speakers, very impressive.

Hi Raz,

I use a Border Patrol 300B single ended power amp.

At its price, I would expect the K70 to be a masterful balance.
