Rotel 965BX or RCD-02

Dear All,

Question as above; I own the former and can get it upgraded OR I could invest in a newer, used RCD-02.
Any opinions, please?

As you may know, about 20 years ago Hi Fi Choice did a big comparative review of 15 or more CD players, and the Rotel 965 was judged to be one of the best. That might be a good reason to keep it. Another is that it can show Index points, which is useful if you have any CDs with Index points. I have three, one of which includes a track with 11 Index points, which produces an unusual display.

Id keep the 965BX. Fabulous machine and also starting to increase in value.
