    Hiya,

    I'm new here, so Hi!!!

A couple of weeks ago I bought a great Rotel cd player, It's the RCD-1070. This use to be Rotel's flagship cd player in some range a couple years back.

Sound and builed quality is good for the money with this cd player. I am very pleased with this player, it sounds very analog with great depth, speed and highs. Sometimes I think this cd player sounds, in some ways better then my turntable. lol!!!!

    Any other RCD-1070 owners here?

Sorry if my thread is boaring. lol!!

Just another quick say. Over the last couple of days I have done some comparisons with my turntable to the Rotel CD player.

Some of you will disagree with me. I find the Rotel cd player to be more refined and punchier sounding over my turntable. And to be honest, I also find the Rotel to be more exciting sounding over my turntable.

Forgot to say, my turntable is a Michell Syncro using using the mycro platter /Rega RB250/DL110

This turntable is 23 years old, and has not had a service ever. But for it's age it's mint!!!!

    Hi White-Socks

I had the 965 Discrete, one or two below and it gave me many years service. It had a very good rhythmic sound. Giving it a Tent Labs clock and power upgrade gave it even more rhythmic timing and took some of the digital edge off.

HI White-Socks. I used to have one and really liked it. Plenty of room inside for modifications as well. You didn't by any chance buy yours off someone in Scotland did you?
