Royd Loudspeakers Info required

Anybody know a chap called Martin who may have worked closely with Joe Ackroyd before he retired? or anyone have any information on how the typical Royd main mid/bass drivers were manufactured?

I am trying to pull as much information together about them as possible so if you have any info on them and you dont mind passing it on, it would be very much appreciated.

I'm sure I have some early info on the original Royd Apex and Rega Ela which shared main drivers and thinking. These were quite detailed magazine articles on the design ethos. I'll check over the next few days and scan anything I can find.

Were Royd built in Telford? Which incidentally is where I live!
