Scratch remover for plastic?

My Yamaha RX-V2500 had a couple small scuffs on the display, are there any good products out there that will remove the scuffs without ruining the display?

I've used toothpaste quite successfully for polishing out small scratches on plastics like turntable lids and even CDs.
Otherwise, there are products available for polishing plastics, which like toothpaste, are just very mild abrasives.

I actually tried the toothpaste method, and it actually worked.
