Seek advise to find a speaker and amplifier combination for my Mac

Hi everyone,
I'm seeking advice for finding a speaker and amplifier system for my Mac. Currently using Audoiengine A2+ combined with a DAC. Looking for more refined sound quality with tribble and bass for better performance. Thank you in advance.

I'd investigate smallest Neumann, Genelec, Adam or Hedd with a subwoofer. Kef LSX or LS50 actives would work well in a desktop nearfield configuration, also with a sub.
