FOR SALE: SHINDO LABORATORY Aurieges L Stereo Pre-Amplifier

One of the best and most affordable valve preamps ever.

Every Shindo Laboratory preamplifier is designed by Ken Shindo, handmade and built to order. Point to point wiring is employed in every model as well as new old stock tubes. Each tube is carefully selected from an extensive in-house inventory of rare examples from the finest manufacturers. Extremely rare second-hand as owners keep them – try and find another, especially in the UK. Google for reviews very highly regarded.

Regardless of price range, all of Shindo's amps are designed to produce natural sound that you can expect in the concert hall. Shindo's preamplifier is the heart of any music reproduction system. Its most important qualities being the ability to convey the emotion, timing, flow, nuance and coherence of the recorded musical event.

Here's an interesting point: the Aurieges L (linestage only) is in some opinions the best of Ken Shindo's preamps, even though it is entry level. It appears that the hierarchy doesn't equal listening pleasure and I know owners who believe this is better than the Monbrison level and above. Has trounced Audio Research top Reference level. Google for reviews and opinion – you wont find a negative comment – only outstanding feedback and reviews.

Picture is a stock pic – but this one LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME is absolute mint condition around a couple of years old according to previous second owner, I cannot verify age but according to dates on the box seems to check out. Provenance and history is known.

Well - I bought this back i missed it so much, it is certainly the best preamp i have tried at any price. However I now use Viva power amps and after searching high and low have found a Viva preamp which should be with me soon.

So this may be for sale again soon. Please PM if you might be interested - i am looking for £1600 - new UK price is £2800.
