Short movie ideas

I have the DV camera, I have a nice tripod, I have a firewire card in fact I have everything to make a home movie, however I have no subject.

Can anybody think of any quick home movie I can produce? One idea is to go out filming my local area one quiet morning.

Also bare in mind I don't can't take the camera out at night because most venues won't like it and also it might get damaged or nicked. I did make a short film called Vinyl and it was off a 45rpm record spinning, it was possibly the most boring video clip ever produced.

A friend of mine once made a short film where he was walking through Swansea in just his undies. Acted normal and just observed peoples reactions (the camera was kept out of site). The best bit was when he was leaning against the corner shop wall smoking a cig. Two old women came out, carried on their conversation for a couple of min's, then noticed him stood next to them as they about to walk off.

He also made a short film where he hacked up a pigs head to the soundtrack of Dr Octogon's "I'm Destructive".

Oh, and the one where he masturbated (close up shot) to a Beethoven soundtrack. The funny thing with that one was that it was for a Uni project on censorship........... and it ended up getting banned! He had to sit in on a meeting thing about it with the various lecturers and heads of department while they viewed it and discussed it :lol:

Another mate did a stop animation thing of a joint building and rolling itself. And one where he managed to make a joint without using his hands, and only using scissors! Followed a conversation after watching Edward Scissorhands.... "how the f@#k would he make a joint with them???".

erm......... perhaps not the suggestions you're after
