ive got speaker stands that are just a wee bit to short.

ive toe'd them out as much as i can and they still seem a wee bit short. also the angle at which they are pointing upwards quite noticable.

question,

any ideas how to make them taller without buying new ones?

cheers,

Rob.

paving slabs, breeze blocks, floor tiles, etc...
not aestheticly pleasing but cheap and they'll do the job.

cheers julian.
i was thinking along these lines my self however "sand box" keeps popping in to my head for some reason.

i recon garden patio slabs will be a lot easier though...

cheers,
Rob.

i was thinking of marble (although this can be quite expencive) as i have my rack sitting on a slab of marble.
weither it accually does anything to enhance performance im not sure but it does look nice...

i suppose i could get my pick and shovel and dig a small hole under my sofa. however i may have to get a few inches taken off my legs other wise, whilst in the seated position , my knees wouldent be accoustically ballanced with the room. also i wouldent be able to see past them to watch telly.

could be :p but its always good to look at problems from every possible angle, then alternative solutions maybe found: :MILD:
ROB why not get a rise+fall settee, lower level for hifi, upper level for tv.

that sounds like a brilliant idea.

a vibrating chair would be the boy however there is the issue of unwanted vibrations getting back to my kit.

perhaps mana should do a line in vibrating chair isolation........
