We seem to have a really wide spread of members from across Europe and even further afield, and lots of budding photographers too, so I figured after taking a few photos of my own yesterday evening it'd be interesting to see people's photos of the town or city that they live in.

I'll start the ball rolling with 2 photos I took yesterday, now bear in mind my digital camera is a cheap £60 Kodak, I was still fairly pleased with the results, but thats more to do with the photo-friendly nature of Aberystyth than any skills on my part, which when it comes to photography are non-existent anyway.

I live in a suburb about 4 miles away from Manchester City Centre, these pictures are taken 10 minutes walk away from where I live.

...and then the Boss got fed up cleaning all those rooms, so now we live in a rabbit hutch in the Swiss Jura.

Obviously taken a little while ago :D Unfortunately our house is just off camera.

PS. This was actually taken about 100 years ago. Funny thing is apart from some speed bumps and traffic lights this view hasn't actually changed that much.

I would give some pics of the general area, but I've sold my cameras... When I have the new one I'll get some pics of the area.

I've just acquired a digital camera so I'll be doing the same RSN.

Ilford's not quite in the same league as Lisbon:(, so I won't bother (I really can't think of any exciting scenery here). Tones wins for for the spectacular view but too cold for me I'm afraid.

Has Oldham moved 40 miles west to coast? :p I miss the seaside and as I am not going away this year the nearest I am going to get to the beach is Blackpool in a my mates £200 Fiesta which is so basic it dosn't even have a glove box.
