If you're going DIY, see www.vhaudio.com (follow the link for DIY recipes). I've made and used several pairs of the fine silver i/c's which are very very good indeed. There's also an interesting phono-less i/c design by 3dSonics somehwere on here. (I'm about to try a hybrid of the two.) www.wires.co.uk is a good value source of (naked) silver wire if you don't mind inserting it into some insulation yourself.

    Re solid silver cables

Hamilton. im very interested in making my own. have you seen this diy site. also (http://diyaudioprojects.com/Power/diySilver/)

    Ive got the tools
    1. weller pu-3d various tips
    2. heat gun
    3. heat shrink my company will pay for

Im using some( Furukawa PCOCC FS-2T14 speaker cables) which are to long so i will start on them first

What do you recomend for the rca plugs ( Eichmann Silver Bullet) Plugs seem good but expensive

    cheers oceanobsession

I have had a few dealings with Dalkey Audio Cables and found them first class. Top quality cables and very fair to deal with.

any reason why silver? there's much less chance to have them integrated in a variety of systems than with a decent quality copper.

btw latest cráze here where i live are not solid core but truly solid (hollow) tubes used as a cable. surely difficult to work with, you can't move anything and you have to fiddle to isolate it, but it sounds rich and full without compromises on transparency.
