well, I tend to move to different ones when I want a change of scenery... ;)

nah, these are all within 5 minutes drive of my house except for the 2 lambs - that beside Wolsingham

Nice. More trees than I got!

Mind you, they're talking about building a windfarm up on windy hill (makes sense...) around M62 junction 22. Of course, the NIMBYs don't like it, but I think it would be a positive thing. I think they're rather pretty in a way.

yeah, we've got 6 wind turbines, but a local company had planned for 26 more (and bigger) - but the planning application got turned down, they've since requested 13...not sure whats happening there tho...!

Nice one Mr Cat.

We live quite close to some nice country side, but we went for a walk on Sunday and found this where a footpath used to be.

The new Pinhoe link road, the Mrs is very upset about it.

Guess we'll have to find a new walk then ?

I wouldn't post too many pictures of sheep on the internet, many web users are a fickle bunch.

Mr cat was using a Fuji finepix A201.

Lordsummit a Fuji finepix A340

Can't tell what lhatkins was using.

A Nikon Coolpix 4100, no way as good as the Fuji's :(
BTW what is it with Digital camera's what makes the sky look cyan? rather than blue? Must admit I had the setting on auto, there is a landscape setting, might try that to see if it gets better pics.

The road that runs down past those wind turbines is an absolutely cracking road for some fast driving :D

yeah, the pics were using the finepix - except for the 1st 3 - they're using my canon powershot g5.

you're right Paul - that is a fast road...nice and straight...however, there is a better one, if you drive up the a68 and turn right at the brown horse pub then go through satley... ;)
