Somebody's pippin the riss surely

Still says £100.

I think somebody needs to tell this idiot that there are 100 pennies in a pound, not 1 penny in a pound. Even asking £1 for it would be over the top if you ask me. Either the idiot is a clown or he dosn't understand decimal currency.

Edit just seen the relisted item for £80. Maybe I should stick my battered old Unkown Pleasures LP on there for £500.

Just had a look in my 2006 record price guide to check this isn't an uber rare item - then noticed it's on the Pickwick label (Woolworth special - usually worth a grand total of jack shit), and that it isn't even in anywhere near mint condition

Had a look anyway and found three Billy listings, the top wack of which is £20 :D

Where do you get these record guide books from I have never seen one before? Any book shop? How much do they cost? I should really have it as I visit my local record shop twice a week.

Head off to WHSmiths AT and ask for the "Record Collector - Rare Record Price Guide 2006" ISBN 0-9532601-4-3 and expect to hand over the best part of £30....

Record Collector Magazine is usually a good starting point. The Mag has been runnng for years, quite a lot of folk use it as the bible when it comes to describing a record's condition as the magazine has very detailed and strict guidlines as to what each description means ( e.g. Mint, Excellent, Very good . etc...) .
Usually available in WH Smith for 3 quid or so...

Argh the £30 bit, probably why I don't already own it :D Lets hope my library has it in the reference section.

Hi,

I'm rich! I have a copy of that Billy Connolly album. I also have copies of some of the other albums the seller is selling. I got my copy from a big collection which worked out a few pence a record. Dropping the price down to £80 will get the punters running.........not!

Stuff on Pickwick doesn't usually go for big money.

The Record collector Price Guide costs £26 in paperback. It's a good starter for valuing your records and cds. But prices in real life can vary. Rare or in demand records can go for more than the book price.
