The XF is the current top of the range speaker stand from Something Solid.
These must be horrifically complicated to manufacture as they are assembled from no less than 34 pieces of steel, all welded to ensure absolute rigidity.
I used them very successfully with a pair of Harbeth monitors, which I no longer own.
Should work well with many BBC type monitors which have a 1ft x 1ft footprint or more.
