Selling my sony CDP to fund another purchase.

It's in superb condition, you won't see a nicer example

It's very rare to see these machines on the S/H market, they only sold in Japan and europe.. A patent owned by wadia meant these beauties couldnt be sold in the US (IIRC)

    little review here...
    http://www.hifichoice.co.uk/archive/...rintreview.htm

The CDP uses a 'puck' a la NAIM.. and sliding back the acrylic lid, to place on the puck feels like prepartion for a religious ceremony .. audiophool bliss. The machine also incorporates special 'filters' to alter the sound.. it's hard to believe these sold for under 2k with the build quality and functions it has.

pics here... although not my machine - it's identical

If this is still available I wonder whether anyone has any experience of using them as a transport with a DAC.

    Cheers

Sorry, I bought this. I'm using it as a CDp not a transport.

Previously, I was using a TEAC P700/D700 transport/DAC combo. I preferred the P700 to the T1 and it has the advantage of being half the size.

Actually, I still have both the P700 and it's matching D700 DAC. I created ebay auctions for them via TurboLister last w/e, then had to go away for the week so didn't get around to listing them.

A picture I purloined from the web (not my actual unit)...

That unit looks a bit knackered. It can't help having a slab of marble on top of it. :)

What condition is your's in and what price are you looking for, do you still want to give E-bay a go?
