I need to raplce my speakers, JBL 1c's with something that has more bass as the JBL's are pretty gutless in the lower registers but OK in the mid and upper ranges with good detail.
I am looking for a speaker that has a good clean sound and an even presence throughout the range. I listen to quite a varied mix of music, Jazz, Latin, Guitar, Blues, Rock and some chart stuff. I also run my DVD player through the amp when I am watching films.
Budget for the speakers is £500.00 as I am looking to add an Arcam power amp to my setup at some point soon.
