Hi All
I'm new to hi-fi as I've just inherited a set up from someone but it come just as a basic setup. I'm trying to connect the speakers to a amp but can't find the correct cable so please help as I only have on speaker working
I have a two pin connection on the speaker but a bare wire connection on the rear of the amp what should I buy.
Thanks

The problem is the speaker is not a bare wire connection it requires two cables with a crimped/sealed plug on one end and a bare wire connection on the other side

Thinking about the above, are you referring to the loudspeaker end having DIN connectors? These have one wide flat pin and one thin round pin. If so, you can buy these on line, but they will need soldering. Depending on where you're located, I would be happy to do that for you, or any tech can do that.

Are you sure those plugs are for loudspeakers? Normally those RCA plugs are used for low level signals, not to drive loudspeakers. If they really are for loudspeakers, you have two choices, either make them up yourself, or buy an RCA to RCA ready made cable of the length you need and cut off the RCA plugs on one end and bare the wires. The problem with this is that RCA-RCA cables use thin wire, as they're only meant for low level signals, so they'll be quite fragile as 'speaker cables, won't carry much power, and if more than a few metres long, will have significant resistance.
