Speakers for Panasonic SA-PM07: reconing vs replacement

I have this beautiful micro system from I'd guess about 20 years ago and both drivers have the rubber rings completely disintegrated. I checked pricing for reconing them and it looks like it will be at least $90/speaker. Can someone suggest a good replacement and/or share further thoughts?

Here is some info I could find. The model number on the back of the original driver is T8P17A6, which seems to be long discontinued. The specs I could find in the product manual are as follows: 8 cm (3 1/8") cone type with 6 ohm impedance, 35W input for music, output pressure level of 82dB/W at one meter. The frequency range is 53Hz - 25kHz (-16dB) and 61Hz - 22kHz (-10dB). Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
 
You're best bet would be too buy another micro system it will have DAB and Bluetooth now so much better functionality. Denon are good. If you prefer to make the most of what you have and not get rid of working equipment you count just buy some cheap second hand speakers like the ones you have, or Denon (made by Mission) would be a good upgrade. Have a look on eBay and Craigslist.
 
Completely forgot about this post, sorry. I managed to replace the drivers with a pair of Dayton Audio PC83-8 and things work reasonably well with aux input, but turns out that the system needs a lot of work: the CD loader intermittently refuses to close and tape needs a new roller. Does it make sense to repair?

I own a somewhat decent modern micro system (Philips BTM2310) and sound quality is meh. What would you recommend as a simple bedroom setup that also works as tv speakers? I own one of those kickass tiny Aiyima dac-a1 boxes, so i can convert both bluetooth and optical to analog.
