Spendor S8e in Cherry

    These have been great speakers and I love them! They're only going because I fell to the temptation of a pair of Quad ESL 63s.
    They are in excellent condition, with just the slightest of marks on the top left-hand corner of one speaker. They were like that when I bought them. They make great speakers for classical music, but sound good with just about anything.
    They are boxed with all packaging, biwire linking plates and original spikes.
    I'm asking £950; I don't want to "post" these, so collection only (Herefordshire) or meet towards Cardiff / B'ham / Nottingham / Manchester / Leeds / Reading / London (week-ends). Photos available.

    Perhaps, but I've been really surprised by the Quads in that respect. As I mostly listen to tinkly twee baroque music, it wouldn't have been much of a problem anyway, even if the stereotype of ESL63s had been true!
