Thats right...watched Deliverance after spotting it cheap on DVD the other day.

Such a good film but I'd forgotten just how shocking that rape scene is. Think its just the fact that the two characters are just so nasty but also so realistic....not hammed up, just two nasty guys in the woods! Not that I've ever met any such characters! But they're the kind of villain that strikes you as genuinely disturbing. Some interesting info on the film on imdb. They didn't have insurance and they all did their own stunts to keep the costs down, can't see that happening now!
