Every now and again you come across something which sounds just lovely and its surprises you.
I hadn't listened to it for years, but Auntie dug out Dexy's Searching for The Young Soul Rebels last night. Great tunes, but what I hadn't realised was what a fantastic sounding record this is. Big, rich, fat horns, bass and drums that sound absolutely gorgeous. Really nice - and hardly a duff track on it.
Just a cheapo "Fame" repressing as well. Someone really knew what they were about in the studio though. Utterly moreish - like really good tomato sauce
