A fully loaded Tact RCS 2.2x for sale (2 DACs & 1 ADC). It has an upgraded Black Gated power supply (another 200 quid on top of the RRP of 3200).
This is a room correction preamplifier that connects to a PC & mic to measure your room's frequency response & then allows you to create a target response which can be tailored to your listening requirements. Also includes a digital crossover that allows you to run subwoofers (or Tacts own woofers) in tandem with your main speakers, with time alignment. Haven't tried this so can't comment on its effectiveness.
Mic & stand included.
This unit has had glowing reviews (in HiFiNews amongst others) and is in immaculate condition. I've had definate success with it in taming bloated bass. Does take some playing around with to get best results.
I'm selling it because I'm moving house & am skint - its a sad day when hifi goes to pay for floors (although they will be fantastic for hifi of course
).
I'm looking for 2200 although offers will be considered. Don't take the michael tho ! I'm based in Saffron Walden in Essex.
Cheers,
Steve
