They still need a bit of damping and tweaking but pleased with the results and thought i would share.

    VB Si:)

Wow Thanks folks, the amp is an Acoustic Masterpiece (Airtight) 22wpc ppp, the drivers are freshly reconed so waiting for them to open out, same goes for the cross overs.

Am using a Lamizator DAC at the moment which is just sublime really.

    Thanks Si:)

So you bought the cabinets as a DIY option from somewhere? And you already had the drivers, maybe from eBay then got them reconed? Are the crossovers original spec, or re-designed?

Well, I saw a thread on DIY Audio, and a Serbian fellow called Ferenc had gone about building some of these and i after drawing up my plans and getting to know the design decided to go for it. There was some faffing around with drivers but ended up with HPD385"s which Lockwood had re coned.
The cross overs are External and are tweaked versions of the originals to compensate for the added efficiency of the bass, these may yet need some changes once the drivers have settled down.
The speakers were built in a workshop, I veneered them in crown cut oak.

Here are a few pics of the various stages of the build,
