Im looking for a full size TEAC CD transport, something like a VRDS-T1, a VRDS 10, or the likes

Must be in the champagne gold finish, and in good condition and full working order. In no major hurry, so will be leaving this ad up for a while.

I sold my lovely VRDS 10 (black) on here.

    Heres the story...

I was informed by the repair guy I sent it to after having a new laser that it was fixed prior to selling it to Thrudge as it had an intermittent problem reading discs. Apparently not, I'm giving thrudge a refund as soon as I can, and looking for another repairer round Manchester or TEAC once I get the unit back from down south. If I get this fixed properly within your timeframe I'll give you a nod. Its a lovely thing as Thrudge will testify, and in lush condition! I'd have to meet halfway, as I think its a delicate petal as far as the post office are concerned.

i may be interested mate.. what kinda money will you be after?

the reason i ask, is that T1's on their own tend to be quite cheap, so im keen not to go nuts :)

ideally its a gold one i want, so black is less desireable for me

Smeagol is right - it is indeed a thing of beauty and in excellent condition. Broke my heart to hand it back. There is an intermittent fault with the unit that the repairer had a nightmare trying to identify - not least because it's intermittent. Hopefully, this can be sorted.

And while we're on the subject, I have found in my business dealings with him that Smeagol is a gentleman - buy with confidence, Shrink. (Mind you, I really wanted that TEAC, so I'm not sure I'll forgive you if you do ;) )
