Hi all, wondering if someone can help me understand and diagnose an issue I have with my hifi.
I've got a NAD C320. This is connected to the tv via an optical out to an analogue convert which connects to the amp.
If I use the USB input on the TV to watch a film or series, the speakers just make a throbbing static type noise. The volume does nothing to increase or decrease the sound. To over come this, I use the usb input on my blueray player and it all works fine.
I got a fire tv cube 2nd gen for xmas which I plugged into the tv via hdmi and it's making the static noise.
I assumed it was the usb port on the tv that was the problem but now it's doing it with an hdmi device plugged in.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance for your help.
