the go betweens

I've just bought hi-fi choice and there was an article about the go-betweens...

has anyone heard of these..?? - they're a great band, in fact I've ordered their re-issues from amazon (9.99 each)...

I've seen them live at ther riverside on my 19th birthday (1989)...

A superb band, the albums Before Hollywood and Spring Hill Fair are true classics and the later stuff is pretty decent as well. I saw them in Manchester sometime in the late 80s, a great gig. I still love the lyric from 'Lee Remick' which went something along the lines of "I love Lee Remick, she was in The Omen with Gregory Peck, she got killed, ah well what the heck".

yeah, I've got lee remick - taped from the john peel show (around the mid - lates 80's) - but wasn't aware who it was, but I was checking the go-betweens website asnd their disography and i saw it listed there! cool! :cool:
