it is based on a new technology, oh dear, stating price depending on finish £22k to 25k
nando

that new technology would be adding carbon surface finish to parts to lighten your wallet.

i think that as pro-ac dealer this has gone too far, it is based on old tech, and they look home made, by the way does the mid unit remind you of something used before?

Hi nando,

So you won't be stocking them.

Have you told Proac about your disapproval.

I have a pair of Wharfedale Opus3 with 10 inch woofers a 3inch
mid and a1inch tweeter .The 10 inch cones are woven carbon
fibre the 3 inch is of their own making as is the tweeter. The
large boat shaped cabnets are as good as finish as you could hope for 8500.Aust. dollars. i love them. Noel W.

i don't know about you guys thoghts on pricing but now i think they are loosing the plot, cadence just anounced their "flagship" speaker to sell for £108.000, i give up, simon make a signature ones for 250k,

nando.

Hi nando,

It may be alot of money for speakers but there is a market for expensive speakers (& other hifi equipment). Proac & Cabasse are trying to get a piece of that action. They will be in competition with other expensive speakers.

On the face of it, the Pro-ac speakers don't sound that special. As a dealer of Proac, you should request a pair to listen to.

BTW, what's the most expensive speakers that you sell?
