Great set of pictures quite different to my part of the world.
I think we should all try and record our surroundings and our
kit a picture is worth a thousand words Noel W.

High Dynamic Range

I recently bought Photomatix Pro and thought I'd have a play with some HDR images whilst I was in the Wye Valley recently. First time I've ever done this, but fairly pleased with the results. Anyone else tried HDR?

Couple of Tintern Abbey and a couple from Puzzlewood:

Later on I will post some of Wales but I shall wait until a load more people have replied with their pictures :).

Some great shots here people.

lbr- the HDR stuff is interesting... I'd just bring down the saturation in the grass in the first two pics a fraction.

So, here's a few of mine...

Believe it or not I already did! You're right though; with a fresh set of eyes, perhaps a touch more.

Dev the problem is to get the moving traffic effect I really needed a tripod I suppose I could have had a look for something to rest my camera on but it was a busy thursday night and I had already had a couple of London Pride ale by then.

The night shots of Westminster I did actually rest my camera on westminster bridge to keep it still but I am now kicking myself for not using a higher ISO but that is just an excuse to get back down to London again :D With mobitix and the 2 hour trains it is just a suburb for me now.

lbr - Now that I'm home, it looks ok on my own computer. I guess my screen at work (samsung 245B) has a wider gamut an more saturation than my laptop.
