I bought a 7" single today, the Bravery Honest Mistake.

It sounds brilliant especialy through my old Rotel preamp and headphones.

I was amazed just how many 7" singles HMV had, there must have been at least 30, all under £3.

I think its great that the old classic has back in fashion again, I think vinyl will rise and rise because a lot of the people who would rahter have have a record in physical form rather than a file are the kind of people who would prefer vinyl anyway.

I know also know lots of people of my generation who don't have a turntable but collect LPs.

People who collect LPs and don't have TTs have more money than sense. My sister does it and won't let me play any of them. Whats the point?!

I don't know, maybe they think they will be worth somthing one day? I have a huge collection (well for my age, I have 80 LPS) and about 10 7" singles. I play them all the time though.

Buying re-issues isn't going to help them there.
I am your age. And also go to the same uni as you. What are the chances of that?

Lol its a small world, although I guess there are 18,000 students there. I was meaning more second hand records, although that dosn't mean they are original I guess.

PS What course are you on if you don't mind me asking?
