No, not bands ending in a double p, but the kind of thing that people like me (who don't get out much) hear by accident and think sounds new and interesting only to find that the rest of the world has already been playing it to death for six months.

So what's it going to be?

(Still like Felt Mountain though.)

ah, you're asking then, not telling us...!

not sure to be honest, but I've been on ebay ordering (too many!) cd's from fleabay...I'm just discovering brian eno...!

Some further nominations from previous years:

Bebel Gilberto: Tanto Tempo
Moby: Play

along the same lines i not sure really what is about i should know but cant think of anything atm.

I still rather like massive attack, I think by the feel of things your gonna get more stuff coming from a jazz style background rather then chillout style.

anothe oldish one - Bonobo and their first(?) cd called animal magic...thats a corker...

Yes, their second album, dial M for monkey is good too.

yeah, I've got thewm all in fact, will have to dig it out - as the last time I plyed it I was only using my AV amp to play music - and it didn;t sound too grand...!

My first copy of blue lines was wonky and clipped the edge of a cd rom drive then exploded. Into hundreds of little pieces.
