I read about these years and years ago, but haven't done them.

Thorsten doesnt come round these parts any more (I sound like a hillbilly now)

Anyone done them, got any before and after stories?

My venerable 834p has been doing sterling duty for me for many years, but might like a little tinker.

    :D

I haven't had the AMR77 at home, so can't comment on it. Its unfortunately one of those that's out of my price range...

Awful sounding thing, loose in the bass and lacking sparkle up top.

Yup, I've done a few and can suggest a ton more. As I've been unable to attach pics when posting, perhaps you can pm your own email so I can send pics there.

    Hi Don!

That would be good of you, thank you.

I know there is more that can be eeked from the little sucker, so would be delighted to hear your findings. Email add. on the way...

OP I think I know what kind it was it looks similar to a hobo spider, but would actually fit in your ear, but I dont know the name. I know that they arent venomous, because Ive been bitten by them several times.

why don't you build a proper RIAA from scratch? 834p is a heavily compromised thing...
