    it reads: "A British film about Charles Darwin has failed to find a US distributor because his theory of evolution is too controversial for American audiences, according to its producer".

    *as of yet* failed to find apparently due to the controversial content, but that's *according to its producer*

    it's a loadsamoney BBC film (canada freindly) , for the U.S more just a deal on profit problem.

    As controversial as i get is MID SOMNER MURDERS shown here
    on Sunday night .Part of me seems to be finished when series
    is over .i read where this is the last series.cant wait for miss
    Marples .Love the gentle English touch. Noel W.

    I lived in the deep south of religeous America for about a year.

    My experience was that for every devout Christian, there were many more without religeon.

    I doubt I met more than one or two people out of..probably 200+ who could be termed a 'creationist' if that is the correct term.

    Even they were liberal enough to allow others to have opposing views without hastle.

    I think the tiniest percentage can have a very big mouth...

    I'd like to say that the people of Tennessee and Kentucky made me feel more welcome than I've even felt at home here in the UK. Southern hospitality was simply inspiring.
