I have been looking at active room correction seriously since I heard a demonstration of an Audio Data box at the MunichHiEnd show back in May.
The difference the correction made, admittedly in a poor 'portakabin' was incredible ,a far more significant improvement than any other single piece of hardware could have possibly made.
Ralph (Cessaro) suggested I look at Trinnov a French company whose background is pro audio, multi channel correction for cinemas theatres etc.
I have been using their ST2 HiFi model at home, you can plug everything into it, analogue and digital , it is a preamp , you can use the box to implement your crossovers and of course it will correct your room.
The ST2 has brought a major improvement to the sound of my room, I really believe that boxes like this could and should be part of every hifi system.
