Wanted: Turntable & tone arm

I'm in the market for a decent turntable - I'm thinking along the lines of Thorens TD160B MkII/Super with RB250/300 or Heybrook II with Linn LVX which seem to be compatible combinations, but I'm open to suggestions.

I'm looking for somthing in good condition preferably with original packaging etc

I have a little used STD 305m, all original packaging including spare belt, gloves, chalk etc. and a new spare motor somewhere. It came with an ADC alt-1 arm which is new and unused as I fitted it with a Mission 774. If interested I can pm you some photographs.

The STD was one I'd never heard of before. Googled the image which I agree looks nice, but I doint think it's what I'm looking for
 
Manticore Mantra & Linn LVX

Hi. I have a Manticore Mantra with a Linn LVX mounted on it. The deck is finished in a dark wood veneer. Would that be of interest?

thank you for your offer, that is more along the right lines. I've heard of the Mantra by reputation.
If it were black I'd be more interested, but I will think about that one if I may - of course if someone else is interested in it please dont wait for my reply.
 
I'll try & load a picture tonight so that you can see how dark it is. Its not black but it is dark. Unfortunately I don't have the lid. I took it off when it went in a cabinet and I can't find it now. Not sure what its worth but I'd be looking for £150.
