I apologize for my noob-ness. Please make fun of me, provided serious answers?
I have an electric piano. The audio comes through headphones. The cord from headphones to the piano is a standard audio plug, the kind you see in microphones, something like this (6.35 mm audio plug if the link doesn't work).
What I'd like to do is have a tablet on the music stand where I could watch/listen to piano lesson videos and play the instrument with the sound from both the instrument and the tablet coming thought the same set of headphones.
I realize they sound can't play simultaneously -- the drivers would fight or something. Perhaps some sort of switch? I do it with monitors and multiple computers all the time. I can't imagine it's that different.
Any suggestions?
Thank you sincerely.
