I have one. They ballsed up an amp order and gave me it as a compensatory freebee. Certainly very convenient at work for powering a headphone amp at line level but I've not compared it to another DAC.

It seems good for the price! it have nice features on it, and no need to worry about installing drivers. Would like to try it someday. Nice find!
How is this compared to the udac?

I have a DIY version.

Use it for :

putting wireless laptop near amplifier, and connecting USB on laptop to RCA inputs on amplifier for Spotify/pandora etc.

just essentially makes it very easy to connect a laptop to an amp.

sound quality - not very bothered, it's spotify with the adverts and I do it to discover new music, not have audiophile-o-gasms.
