Hi all im building a system on a budget just bought marantz pm 66se with matching cd player £70 now looking for speakers ive seen some castle severn2 for sale would this be a goid match for this amp tia

Should be fine. The amp is around 50 watts into 8 ohms, 70 watts into 4 ohms, and the 'speakers are nominally 8 ohms, 87dB/ watt sensitivity, so unless you have a large room or you want to play VERY LOUD, the amp and Castle 'speakers should work well together.
