I am looking to buy a new car, and in order to finance some of my belovid system may have to go !

Naim AV2 Surround sound processor (Jul 2004)

Kef Q2ds Surround sound speakers (August 2004)

2x Rotel RB991 Power amps

3x pairs of Chord Signature interconnects

2x 4m pairs of Chord Signature speaker cable

Pictures avaliable, I am located in SW London, or can assiste with postage if needed.

Buy a 1997 VW Polo 1.4CL 5 door in Dragon Green. FVWSH with a genuine 26,500 miles. 12moths tax and mot. Every xtra VW did at the time. Perfect condition and stored in a garage for the last 2 years. If you can find one for £1600 you'd have the bargain of your life. As is so happens.................

Are you mad?

Have been for the last 20 odd years, why change now !

I do not really want to sell, but I went to look at a Skyline at the wkend :D

How much do you think your new Skyline will be worth when petrol rationing starts in about 3 years from now (if we're lucky)?

Anyone who buys a new car now is throwing money away.

I know what you mean, but I am selling the AV part, not the Black gold spinner and my Hi Fi.

If you have to sell your HIFI to buy a Skyline then maybe, just maybe, you can't acually afford one;)

Try a Mitsi 6

Hi Levi,

How much would you sell the Rotel RB991 power amps for (including delivery)?

What condition are they in, and how old are they?

Cheers.

SKYLINE!!!!

A friend of mine has an R33 V-Spec for sale at the moment and he has not had a single sniff at it. Pile of junk if you ask me, would not touch one with a barge pole, but each to their own.

Would definitely not sacrifice the hi-fi for one that's for sure.

Why be impressed with a car that has everything computer controlled. You have no feedback with the car or the road, not to mention you are putting you trust in alot of electronic circuitry to control what is essentially a car which gives you 'an appointment with your maker' everytime you drive it!

I bet you have just been blown away with a test drive but that will soon wear off and you will regret selling the hi-fi which gives you far truer and longer lasting pleasure.

Lol,overated against what exactly,under 30k.Nothing can touch them,Imprezas are closest. :)

The rb26 engine in the skyline is surely one of the most tunable engines of all time. Yes skylines can look a bit vulgar, but there is no denying the engineering and the value they offer.

Im not such a big fan of evo's. I personally wouldn't want to own an evo/impretza with all the wings on, id imagine they attract so much unwanted attention from plod/idiots. They are very impressive all the same though.

...along with the GM small-block V8 which is one of THE most tunable engines out there (just look at how long they have used them for NASCAR). It's just my personal opinion but a properly engineered Chevy V8 normally aspirated is far better than any turbo Jap block. Then get the V8 in a really good sized and weighted vehicle and you have a proper drivers monster motor.

If you want something fast then get a motorbike

cars are for the shopping trips.........
