Vishay resistors?

Leo,

Andy's regs are good, plus he's a genuine guy too & knows his onions
The 8412/8414 are basically indentical (pin outs are the same) save for 96khz capability.
The 8413 has a configurable internal buffer memeory read through the serial port, which can be used to buffer channel status, auxillary data &/or user data.
Those are only a few mods, a few are our little 'dodges' if you like leo.
I do like some of the charm of non o/s, but I want more (great song!)

Hi T,

Andys super regs are doing a great job of powering the output stage.
I've just been playing about with the loopfilter of the CS8412- Currently I am using the Wildmonkeysects arrangement- 3300pF between filt and Agnd, 220nF and 470R in parallel to the 3300pF cap.
Surprised at the difference.
I still like Non-o/s with the TDA1541S2 but this dac is a real pain in the arse to work with although it is still my favourite regarding the sound.
Next thing I want is a better transport and possibly add a clock upgrade like one of Guido tents.
Lots of things to try, its all good fun:))

Leo

BTW this seems a nice site, not very active though:)
