I realise that there are some very experienced Audiophiles/Audio Nuts on this board with a wide range of knowledge of up market gear.
Has anybody tried or, have any experience with the Audio Research VT 150 Mono Block Amplifiers.
I have a chance to purchase a pair at a high
but not extortionate price. 
Being Mono Blocks I could hide them behind each speaker. They need hiding because they must be amongst the UUUUUUUUUUgliest of amps I have ever seen. In fact I have seen better looking Arc welding machines.
