Wanted Floor standing speakers >95db

    I would like to find a pair of floorstanders speakers that can be used close to a rear wall and are at least >95db for use with a 20w SET amp.

    have a look at audio note speakers, they like close wall sensitivity and are sensitive

    You could look for a pair of Klipsch's. Heresey's aren't too big....

    Exactly what I had in mind. Are yours stand mounted or on the floor with that inclined wedge tilting them back?

    Mine are on the floor, with wedges. Sound lovely. Just listening to some Mingus, then Kraftwerk next.
    I bought mine from Holland, but they turned out to be a bit of a project. New crossovers came from America, new mid-drivers from Germany. Worth it though. I'd love to be able to afford a pair of III's. They're about £1000 last time I looked. If you keep searching on ebay, hififorsale etc, you'll find a pair. I'd also look out for Cornwalls, they're supposed to be even more fun!
