Wanted: Wanted IMPULSE speakers

I nearly bought some but they weigh the same as a baby mammoth, and are a wee bit aesthetically challenged.
...and thats from me, my Tannoys look like something from a Village Fete.

Taz: Right now I am playing with Mastersound Reference 845 and Tannoy Glenair 15. Mastersound 845 is a tube SET amplifier (2 times 40 watt) but I "feel" G15 needs even more power to show themselves from their best side.

I have looked for Impulse speakers for a long time now, but it is impossible to find/buy them in Norway. Therefore I hope that there is somebody out there that is willing to sell me a pair.

My English is not as good as I wish it was, but I hope you understand my writings.

Mr Sukebe: Taùs have to be the best looking Impulse model. I understand that it sounds just as good as H2. You are probably a very happy man:)

Ianfromnotts: Thanks for the info, but I already had contact with Julius Hyde at Aspara Acoustics:) I must admit that HL1 and HL2 tempt me. Do you have any listening experiences with the Aspara speakers? How do they sound compared to Impulse (H2/H6)?

I've heard a couple of pairs of H2s (check the PF forums for the chaps on there). They're basically the same speaker as the Ta'us, but as you say, the Ta'us are better looking. I've yet to hear anything I prefer to them, although the previous owner of mine replaced them with some Avantgardes.
 
Impulse owners tend to hang on to them as they are superb.
I have a pair of H2s not currently in use (I'm passing through my Tannoy phase ;) ) and I'm not inclined to sell, but everything has it's price....

Since you are not very interested in selling, I therefore understand that it will be expensive for me.
Are you willing to send H2 to Norway and guarantee that they also look and work well? Cargo from England to Norway is quite expensive. I guess 200-500pund.
Have you, or other people on the forum the opportunity to find the cheapest possible shipping company, then I would be grateful.
How much do you want to let the H2 travel to Norway?

Impulse H2 (first hand) in perfect condition for sale

Hello ELEL6200,

I live in the Paris area (France) and I have a pair of Impulse H2 in perfect condition. They have their original drivers (bought from Graeme - Zen Audio in Hull, UK when I was living in England).

I use to drive them with a pair of Audion 300B monoblocks (sold). I still have the original boxes for shipping the H2.

They are still working perfectly. Please let me know if you are still interested.

He is obviously not interested or else he would have replied by now. Just forget it, you will probably find another buyer elsewhere. :)
