Looking for a Linn Ikemi Cd Player,must be mint black in finish and preferably boxed.
Would want to collect only from anywhere in the Midlands (I live in Nottingham)
 
Hi Paul,

Have you tried local Linn dealers? If you contact a few they might have one in or know that one may be traded in soon. You could register an interest & they could get in touch with you if one pops up.

There are a couple of Linn dealers in Nottingham, one in Leicester and one in Sheffield.

These appear regularly on ebay, hififorsale, pinkfish etc and most are black and boxed in excellent condition. Surely some of these must have been in the midlands area?

What sort of price are you looking to pay? About £800-900 seems to be the price for a mint one these days.

I recently bought a mint silver one off ebay for £800 and have to say it's the nicest sounding player I've had (and I've had a lot;), many much more expensive players as well).

I am looking to pay about £800 and am keeping my eye on the web sites you suggest as well as local Linn dealers..I had an Ikemi before and made the mistake of selling it ...like yourself I have had many Cdp's and have to say the only player I had that was slightly better was the Linn Majik..

I would prefer a later model the one I had before was a 2004 model...
