Does anyone have a series III arm wand for sale or know of one that may be for sale? Am I correct when I think that the arm and headshell for a III series are one piece?

    Thanks

Well, they aren't one piece in the way a Rega is (for example), but the plastic headshell is fixed to the armtube and is not supposed to be removed.

Thanks for that so could a headshell replacement actually be carried out?

Well, I would respond with; to what purpose? The headshell is very low mass, as is the arm wand and the intended design of the whole arm. Whatever headshell you used would increase the mass considerably and attaching it to the small diameter armtube will not be so easy.

It wasnt to change the headshell for another but the finger lift has broken and rather than change the whole arm I wondered if it was feasable to change just the headshell.
I'll have a look on hifi candythanks, there is one on ebay but its got damage as well.

The fingerlifts on III's are always breaking. It's 'an issue'. the headshells cant be removed so the whole wand will have to be replaced.
