water divining

Or even if it works, that would need to be shown first.

Ok......

Thats perhaps a fair point. (A little more intelligent than just saying "horse plops" etc all day)

There are some things which we are not meant to understand.....or shall we say.....science will take a long time to catch up with.

Dowsing isn't theonly thing in nature we don't undestand. Not by a long chalk.

HOw many times have I watched a nature program and D Attenborough says "we don't knnow why" or " no one understands why this should be".

It happens guys.

:)

Academics really kill me. A few papers under their belt, they then know better than most....

Knowledge is surely knowing how little you know.

(IMO of course)

Sorry, Andy I misread your post to start with (above).....I'll leave the mis-answered post anyway. I think its a relevant point.

Yes, Its a shame some of the experiments have been not worked out.....but as I think I've mentioned dowsing needs to be for important information....I can well see that experimenting like that will interupt the thought process. I don't know though....I wasn't there!

:)

(Edit, I worked for a couple of years in experiental agricultural field trials work.

I can assure you......those don't always go according to plan either!)

I had a mate that was really good at divining. He practiced at it for years and got so good that he had to give up driving. You see he couldnt drive across a river without veering off the road...:)

Whats wrong with horseplops?

Stop accepting things on face value as 'mysterious' and maybe you will stop believing that dowsing works. It isnt one of natures great wonders that man cannot grasp - it is simple pure unadulterated horseplops. Why cant you accept this?

Nobody knows everything, but your gullibility knows no bounds.
