prefer track two,

any violin or cymbals would have sealed the deal though.

On my work system: Firefox/PC, M-Audio Transit, passive pre, T-Amp, JR-149,

2 sounds more impressive, more left/right separation and as a result of that more artificial and as such I'd guess that's the MP3.

Yes sir, we have both kinds o' music here, country AND Western!

Couldn't hear any significant difference.

I really dislike C+W, maybe if the experiment is repeated with some proper music, Bach perhaps, a bit from one of the Cello suites?

So Rob, how long have you been dating your sister? ;)

Right, so you want something that sounds dirty, compressed and splashy and preferably Bach.

Nice simple request then! :D

Just clicked the wrong one as well! do us a favour Rob and change my vote to track 1 being MP3. And who's the artist? Some nice southern blues rock....bit Skynyrd-esk....

Hi Rob

Maybe we should attract some people from PFM and WIGWAM to come and vote.

The bigger the sample, the better..

And all you guys reading this but not voting. . shame on you! ! :D

download the clips, make a vote.

Hi Chris,

Go for it!

I want to vote, but with the kit in the flat at the moment I need to borrow my daughter's Mac and optically link it to my Beresford 7510 and listen on my headphones.

Soon . . . if I can find the optical mini jack adaptor!

Looks a close call so far!
