    I think Nando has been on the cooking sherry.

    What exactly is wrong with the idea?

    When i was at junior school we had to sing each day.

    COOKIES , NO but my issue is , like other "NATIONAL DAY " i.e;
    no-smoking day, no driving day, as an example, we do not "i think" decleracions as to a " TODAY IS A NATIONAL DECLERATION DAY" we ,i think, are inteligent enough to , or independant to choose what day we want to make of it, fair enough we all sung in school ,baths bedrooms, streets, etc, but the issue that i made is why declare this an anual singing day in primary schools?

    Sorry I don't fully understand what you on about.

    If you look into it, it is not a compulsory event. It's up to the schools to take part. There is nothing wrong with publicising events.

    What is so wrong with kids singing? As Andy(Penence) as pointed out, kids used to do this all the time at primary school. I remember singing & listening to singing at school. Quite enjoyable at times.

    Kids singing can be beneficial to some kids. It can build self confidence, improve team building skills, it offers good self discipline and be good entertainment.

    There are many National days or weeks for many things. There is the National science week coming up soon. That doesn't mean you have to go out in a white lab with test tubes!
