I am new to the Hi Fi world, please bear with me, i had been given a Denon PMA-700V pre main amplifier and a pair of Infinity RS 5B speakers a few years ago, i managed to connect them and used them yesterday, brilliant sound ! However now it starts giving with some crackling noise when i play strong base music, i am thinking of replacing the speakers, could someone advise what type of speakers do i need to go with this pre main amplifier ? do i need speakers with built in Amp, Subwoofer or with both ? i tried my old Bose speakers but there is no base come out of them, not sure what i am missing. I attached the pictures of the pre amp and the infinity speakers. Thanks in advance.
